Controller

Kevin Chan

Kevin Chan was named Controller in December 2023. In this role, he leads the Corporate Finance department and partners with the executive leadership team to support accurate, timely and transparent financial disclosures while ensuring compliance with the United States GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. Chan played a key role in the Worthington 2024 strategic initiative that separated Worthington Industries into Worthington Enterprises and Worthington Steel.

Chan joined Worthington Industries in November 2010 and has served in several roles of increasing responsibility within Corporate Finance, most recently as director of financial systems and external reporting.

Chan obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Miami University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with more than 20 years of experience, including tenure with one of the Big Four accounting firms.

He resides in Worthington with his wife and three children.
