Supply Chain Transparency

Worthington Enterprises is committed to achieving supply chain transparency and ensuring product compliance across our operations. As part of these efforts, the Company invested in Assent’s compliance platform as a centralized solution providing access to key third-party data, including certifications, to help enable more efficient processes and stronger collaboration across our supply chain.

Steve Denny, vice president, purchasing operations

Within the first year of using the Assent software, we’ve been able to benchmark performance metrics by monitoring performance, generating reports and ensuring we are adhering to regulations to promote ethical and sustainable sourcing practices.

A Valuable Investment

This investment has already proven valuable. Insights informed updates to our Supplier Code of Conduct specific to our commitment to transparency and accountability.

At the end of fiscal year 2025, 100% of our suppliers are monitored indirectly for social and environmental risks.

Thirty-one percent are directly engaged, including more than 95% of our critical and high-risk suppliers that account for approximately 75% of our spend.

Creating New Connections

Our supplier data in Assent provided visibility on our existing spend with diverse suppliers and a benchmark for measurement. Throughout fiscal year 2025, we identified ways to grow our exposure with qualified diverse suppliers to create new connections for future sourcing decisions. Through these actions, we learned that proactive engagement through councils and matchmaking events significantly enhances visibility to diverse suppliers with whom we may not have previously been familiar. Looking ahead to fiscal year 2026, Worthington Enterprises plans to increase spend with minority-owned and women-owned businesses.
