Sustainability becomes more meaningful when employees can connect everyday choices with broader environmental impact. At Worthington Enterprises, we create opportunities for employees to learn about environmental issues firsthand, explore more sustainable practices and consider how individual actions can contribute to collective progress.

Throughout fiscal 2026, employees participated in experiences that brought sustainability to life—from exploring the future of transportation and seeing how waste is managed to experiencing the value of clean, fresh air and protected green spaces.

Exploring the Future of Transportation
In partnership with Smart Columbus, employees participated in a hands-on introduction to electric vehicles and mobility. Through test drives and conversations about charging infrastructure, regional investment and mobility trends, employees explored how innovation in transportation can help reduce environmental impacts while supporting economic development in central Ohio.

Seeing Waste Differently
Visits to two waste facilities gave employees a firsthand look at what happens to waste and recyclable materials after they leave our workplaces. By seeing landfill and recycling operations in action, employees gained a deeper understanding of waste management and the role responsible disposal and recycling practices can play in conserving resources and reducing environmental impact.

Connecting with the Environment
Our Summer Sustainability Hiking Series encouraged employees to step outside and experience local green spaces while supporting personal well-being. Weekly hikes at a regional metro park provided opportunities to learn about the role protected natural areas play in environmental stewardship and regional sustainability while giving employees time to recharge and connect with one another.

Together, these experiences help turn environmental awareness into informed action. By giving employees opportunities to learn, participate and make more sustainable choices, we are building a culture in which progress is shared. Each experience represents another step forward—creating Measured Momentum through everyday actions that can contribute to a more sustainable future.
