A Structured Pathway

Worthington Enterprises recognizes the importance of our future workforce and our responsibility to help engage, train and prepare today’s youth for tomorrow’s career success. That’s why we actively partner with local schools and programs to connect high school students with a glimpse into manufacturing and provide options to get hands-on experience.

Our Career Accelerator Program evolved in 2025 through a partnership with the Manufacturing Extension Partnership to provide a structured pathway for high school students to develop a strong foundation in manufacturing through technical and career readiness training. Through a mix of classroom work and experience on the shop floor, students learn necessary skills to manage their careers. At the end of the nine-week program, participants earn an industry-recognized Certified Manufacturing Associate (CMfgA) credential and may receive a full-time job offer from Worthington Enterprises.

Opening Doors

Each October, Worthington Enterprises celebrates Manufacturing Day by opening its doors to students, educational institutions, companies and community leaders to showcase and discuss career possibilities. Each Worthington Enterprises location decides the best way to engage with its local community. Some activations included offering facility tours, hiring events with sign-on bonuses and creating virtual-reality experiences to bring students into the world of manufacturing.
